Liven UP

Make the nights brighter with music, stories and friends.

Bringing a little magic and meaning to the beautiful seawall in Coal Harbour, Liven UP - Coal Harbour is a new and free month-long family-friendly activation that will see lighting installations, artists, musicians, and storytellers animate this spectacular walk from Canada Place to Cardero Park. Liven UP - Coal Harbour is not only about entertaining and creating a sense of wonder, it is about bringing people together, sharing experiences, and connecting with cultural groups that have helped shape our city.

Larger lighting installations will be located at key points along the route with suspended lighting to find your way. Performance areas will be activated on Friday and Saturday evenings in December from 5-10pm with musicians, artists, fire performers, and storytellers. The Harbour Green Park Stage will be the hub of the site with a warm and cozy covered area featuring a live music stage and bar offering delectable alcoholic and non-alcoholic hot drinks. All event activations are accessible and free for everyone to enjoy!

Come celebrate with family and friends. Come connect in the shared experience of light, music, story, and taste. Come make new friends.
